Chybotek is one of the most iconic spots in Szklarska Poręba, famous for its large, balancing boulder perched atop smaller rocks. Located in a lush forest area, Chybotek attracts visitors with its unique charm and mystery, as the stone starts to wobble with a gentle push. This granite formation provides an ideal spot to relax and admire the stunning nature of the Karkonosze and Izery Mountains.
How to get to Chybotek from Willa Słoneczko
Route: The route from Willa Słoneczko to Chybotek is a scenic trail, perfect for enjoying the natural beauty of the surrounding forests and mountains. Along the way, you’ll also pass the stunning Szklarki Waterfall.
- Start: Begin your journey at Willa Słoneczko, heading southeast toward Kasprowicza Street.
- Follow the Path: Turn right onto Turystyczna Street and follow it to the starting point of the black trail, which will lead you first to Szklarki Waterfall and then onward to Chybotek.
- Szklarki Waterfall: After a short walk, you’ll arrive at Szklarki Waterfall, cascading from a height of 13 meters and surrounded by lush greenery. This is a perfect spot to pause, take photos, and enjoy the sound of the falling water.
- Continue to Chybotek: After visiting the waterfall, continue along the black trail, which will guide you directly to Chybotek.
- Destination: After approximately 60 minutes of walking, you’ll reach Chybotek. The trail is moderately easy and suitable for families with children, though some areas can be rocky, so comfortable shoes are recommended.
Duration: Around 60 minutes one way (including a stop at the waterfall).
