The history of Willa Słoneczko is an extraordinary journey through time.

Villa Berliner Hof
From its earliest days, our Villa has proudly served as a guesthouse with a history dating back to the early 20th century. The first mention of it can be found in the 1903 guidebook "Schreiberhau seine Geschichte, Natur und Beschreibung." which attests to its rich past and significance in the history of the region. Once known as Villa Berliner Hof, founded by Emil Reimann, it has delighted guests with its unique atmosphere since around 1901.
The guesthouse was likely built in 1901. From its inception, it promised its guests not only comfort but also unmatched tranquility. Surrounded by a beautiful garden and strategically located, the Villa offered ideal conditions for those wishing to enjoy the beauty of nature and peaceful relaxation. Advertised as a "Villa in the middle of a beautiful garden, with a convenient location, offering a pleasant and tranquil retreat." it quickly earned a reputation as a place where every moment is filled with relaxation and rejuvenation.

Fremdenheim Berliner Hof
After a few years, Anna Anwand and Alice Hayn took over the management, simultaneously changing the name of this place. At that time, guests could enjoy sixteen heated rooms with full board options, access to a shared dining room, and a lounge.

Haus Gradel
Villa was distinguished by its modernity: it featured electric lighting, modern bathrooms, and heated rooms and corridors, making it an ideal place to host guests year-round.---On old postcards, the name "Haus Gradel" appears. However, due to the lost archives of Szklarska Poręba, this chapter of our house’s history remains yet to be uncovered.
WDW Słoneczko
In the post-war years, the building served as a Military Recreation House, forming, along with WDW Śnieżynka and WDW Wysoki Kamień, a Military Recreation Complex in Szklarska Poręba. In 2009, it was put up for sale, eventually coming into our hands to once again operate as a guest accommodation.Over the years, the Villa has undergone many changes, but its spirit and character remain unchanged, attracting guests seeking unique experiences, a blend of history with comfort, and a closeness to nature. We invite you to experience this unique place where the past meets the present.
