From its earliest days, our Villa has proudly served as a guesthouse with a history dating back to the early 20th century. The first mention of it can be found in the 1903 guidebook "Schreiberhau seine Geschichte, Natur und Beschreibung." which attests to its rich past and significance in the history of the region. Once known as Villa Berliner Hof, founded by Emil Reimann, it has delighted guests with its unique atmosphere since around 1901.
The guesthouse was likely built in 1901. From its inception, it promised its guests not only comfort but also unmatched tranquility. Surrounded by a beautiful garden and strategically located, the Villa offered ideal conditions for those wishing to enjoy the beauty of nature and peaceful relaxation. Advertised as a "Villa in the middle of a beautiful garden, with a convenient location, offering a pleasant and tranquil retreat." it quickly earned a reputation as a place where every moment is filled with relaxation and rejuvenation. After a few years, Anna Anwand and Alice Hayn took over the management, simultaneously changing the name of this place. At that time, guests could enjoy sixteen heated rooms with full board options, access to a shared dining room, and a lounge.
